Week Seven Picks

We didn't do too badly last week as we got the Jets and Patriots beating up on their opponents and the Dolphins losing a close one against the Saints. We missed on the Bills though as they won in Carolina.

Houston Texans (4-3) vs Buffalo Bills (3-4)

The Bills surprised us last week and in a good way so we will give them the nod this week. The Texans are a tough team, but not on the road, not in Buffalo and not against a team that is showing some signs of life. Expect it to be windy and the Bills to play it out on the ground.

Texans: 17 - Bills: 20

Miami Dolphins (2-4) vs the New York Jets (4-3)

It seems like these teams just met a few weeks ago and that is because they did. In the last game the Jets defense just couldn't stop the running attack of the Dolphins wildcat offense which score last and left the Jets offense too little time to score again. The Jets have lost a few good players but get back a tuned Calvin Pace who should bring the pressure. Expect the Jets to stick to the run just long enough to test the rookie secondary of the Dolphins.

Keys to the Castle: No secret here, as the Jets defense has to find a new life and stop the running game. If they can do that and get to quarterback Chad Henne they can pull out a win.
