Week Eleven 2009 - Jet Kingdom Throne Picks
Jet Kingdom picks the AFC East match ups and scores for week eleven of the 2009 NFL season. This week we pick the Dolphins at Panthers, Bills at Jaguars and the New York Jets heading to New England to take on the Patriots.
Week Ten Picks
We didn't do too badly last week, picking the Bills and Patriots to lose and the Dolphins to win. If it were not for the flub on the field by the Jets, we would have be 4-0. As it is, we landed at 3-1.
Miami Dolphins (4-5) at Carolina Panthers (4-5)
The Dolphins suffered a huge loss this week, losing running back Ronnie Brown who was also the heart of their wildcat offense. The Panthers had a rough start but have been playing better lately. Expect the Panthers to play big at home in the spotlight.
Dolphins: 17 - Panthers: 24
Buffalo Bills (3-6) at Jacksonville Jaguars (5-4)
The Bills just sacked their head coach and have a lot of games to go before the end of the season and the Jaguars are back in the hunt for the playoffs. Expect the Bills to fold early as the Jags run up and down the field.
Bills: 13 - Jaguars: 27
New York Jets (4-5) at New England Patriots (6-3)
The Patriots are coming off a big loss against the Colts and a questionable call. They head back home and have to rally for a big playoff push. The Jets playoff chances are getting very slim, a win against New England would certainly help that, but the Patriots are going to be playing for all the marbles.
Keys to the Castle: If they Jets have any shot in this game, it is about ball management. Move it down the field slowly and leave Tom Brady on the sideline. A shootout will be tough to win.
Jets: 28 - Patriots: 26
Come back next week for a recap of the Jets and to see how we did in our Throne Picks.
