Week Ten 2009 - Jet Kingdom Throne Picks
Jet Kingdom picks the AFC East match ups and scores for week ten of the 2009 NFL season. This week we pick the Patriots at the Colts, the Dolphins hosting the Bucs, the Bills at the Titans the Jaguars coming to the New York Jets.
Week Nine Picks
Only one game last week and one win. A perfect 100%. Way to go us!
Buffalo Bills (3-5) at Tennessee Titans (2-6)
Two teams fighting for a little respect this week as the Bills go back to quarterback Trent Edwards and the Titans stay with Vince Young. Expect the Titans to play the ground game all day and win it in a close one.
Bills: 16 - Titans: 19
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-7) at Miami Dolphins (3-5)
The Bucs are coming off their first win of the season after putting in rookie quarterback Josh Freeman but that is going to be hard to trump. The Dolphins lost a big one up in New England but can certainly pound the ball enough to pull this one out. Expect it to be a Ricky/Ronnie day all day/
Bucs: 17 - Dolphins: 24
New England Patriots (6-2) at Indianapolis Colts (8-0)
A big game for both teams, but more so for the Patriots who have beaten up on some crappy teams but have also lost two in the AFC. The Colts are suffering on defense but can still score enough to win games. Expect Peyton Manning to match Tom Brady throw for throw but the home field advantage being the difference.
Patriots: 30 - Colts: 31
Jacksonville Jaguars (4-4) at New York Jets (4-4)
These are two teams that need wins to keep in the hunt for the very tough AFC division playoff race. The Jaguars got off to a slow start while the Jets went into a slump after starting perfectly. Expect a nice day, lots of running and defenses looking not to lose it for them.
Keys to the Castle: The Jets have to stick to their plan, run the ball, stop the run and keep it close. If they can shut down the Jaguar rush, they can put up enough to win the game.
Jaguars: 17 - Jets: 27
Come back next week for a recap of the Jets and to see how we did in our Throne Picks.
