Week Twelve 2009 - Jet Kingdom Throne Picks

Week Eleven Picks

We did horrible last week, picking 1-3 as we lost the battle in Florida and obviously were delusional about the Jets vs the Patriots. Oh well, another week to go.

Miami Dolphins (5-5) at Buffalo Bills (3-7)

The Dolphins are still in the hunt for the playoffs and with two AFC East teams to play, they have a shot. The Bills on the other hand are out of it but hoping to not let their season go to total waste. Expect the Bills to play tough at home for the new head coach and the Dolphins to be set back.

Dolphins: 21 - Bills: 27

New England Patriots (7-3) at New Orleans Saints (10-0)

There are more than a few reasons for the Patriots to want to pull out a win in New Orleans, but the Saints at home are playing good football and have a very opportunistic defense. Expect Tom Brady to have a rough day as the Saints go marching on.

Patriots: 30 - Saints: 34

Carolina Panthers (4-6) at New York Jets (4-6)

This is two teams trying to right their season after high expectations. The Jets need a win very very badly and are hoping that a fired up coaching staff can get them over the hump. Expect some better play at home against a questionable defense.

Keys to the Castle: With head coach Rex Ryan paying some attention to the offense, the key to the castle is just to do what the Jets do well, which is run the ball. If the Jets can establish that killer run and get it a lead, Mark Sanchez can keep it simple and safe.

Panthers: 20 - Jets: 28

Come back next week for a recap of the Jets and to see how we did in our Throne Picks.
