Stadium Debate Heats Up
There is nothing like a deadline to push the heat up on the growing debate and fight over the West Side Stadium.
First New Jersey put a plan together to build a shared stadium next to the meadowlands which Bloomberg has dismissed. Next we hear that Woody Johnson (owner of the NY Jets) is thinking about making a bid for some of the Cablevision properties like the Rangers and the Knicks. Whoa. Lastly, the plan gets a needed friend when Rep. Charles Rangel backs the plan to its fullest as part of a plan to build the minority job base.
