Cablevision's $760 Million Dollar Bid
The rumor is hitting the streets that Cablevision's bid for the air rights over the MTA rail yards was turned in at $760 million dollars which outbid the $720 million dollar bid of the New York Jets. The winning bid will not just be chosen based on money but on other aspects such as feasibility and full plan. The MTA is scheduled to pick a winner on March 31st, 2005.
