The MTA voted unanimously to approved the New York Jets bid for the rights to build over the rail yards. "This is a tremenodus project with tremendous jobs, and I can go home at night and sleep soundly knowing I am pushing this forward," said the chairman of the MTA's real estate committee, James Simpson.
