Jets Wait Till May on MTA
The New York Jets will have to wait till May 10th to finish out the deal with the MTA as reported by the Daily News.
" The Empire State Development Corp.'s unanimous 6-0 vote at a Manhattan meeting will put final state action on the stadium in the hands of Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver and State Senate Majority Leader Joseph Bruno, who have expressed misgivings about it. The stadium is key to New York's 2012 Olympics bid as well as plans to expand the Jacob Javits Convention Center."
