It might be a little too early, but if you are a New York Jets fan, go ahead and pinch yourself. Just when you thought the Mad Tangini was done mixing together a power off-season potion, they land the last ingredient, a playoff caliber quarterback.
The Favre comes pretty cheap only costing a conditional fourth-round draft pick in 2009. If he plays more than 50% that can move up to a third but either way is a steal.
Now the question becomes, does the 38 year old player have enough left in him, can he build enough chemistry, can he bring the Jets to the playoffs and beyond? Only time will tell but this is certainly going to be an interesting season either way.
