Rulers Rant: One Point?!!?

Seriously one point underdog against the Dolphins? What are they smoking in Vegas?

Ok. I can see how the 2-9 New York Jets might not be huge favorites against most teams. In fact, I would suspect that we are going to be big underdogs to rest of games against winning teams. That being said, what the hell is anyone thinking to make the 0-11 Dolphins favored over the 2-9 Jets?

For Real?

First of all, the Jets have already defeated the Dolphins this season. That alone should account for something. Add to that that the Dolphins just loss to the Steelers who the Jets defeated just two weeks ago. Sprinkle in a little fact that the Dolphins are playing without any running game, a brand spanking new rookie quarterback and have not won a game all season!

Why should the Jets be underdogs in this game? The Dolphins can't run the ball, protect against the run, pass the ball or actually win a game. Sure the Jets aren't powerhouse but we have managed to put up much better fights and a few wins over this hapless team.

Motivate Baby!

I hope Mangini and crew use this as a huge motivating factor to get the team pumped up to absolutely destroy the Dolphins in their own house.

Stick that one point where the sun don't shine!
