Week Seven 2007 - Jet Kingdom Throne Picks
Jet Kingdom picks the AFC East match ups and scores for week seven of the 2007 NFL season. This week we pick the Jets at Cincinnati, the Patriots in Miami, Baltimore in Buffalo and the Steelers in Denver.
A lot of uneven games this week but that won't stop us from throwing the throws and making the picks.
New York Jets (1-5) at Cincinnati Bengals (1-4)
This is the last game the Jets have to get on the right track and the last for Chad Pennington to prove he should continue to be the starter. The Bengal defense hasn't shown anything great so expect Thomas Jones to pick up where he left off last week with some big runs. If the Jets defense can contain Chad Johnson just a little bit, Jets win.
Jets: 33 - Bengals: 28
New England Patriots (6-0) at Miami Dolphins (0-6)
This might be the most one sided game of the year and the only real question is how much will the Patriots run up the score. Since they don't seem to want to ever take a knee this one gets out of hand and become brutal at the half. Dolphins go into a downward spiral.
Patriots: 50 - Dolphins: 13
Baltimore Ravens (4-2) at Buffalo Bills (1-4)
The Ravens defense is built to destroy rookie quarterbacks and with Trent Edwards getting the nod over JP he is going to learn a few things. Willis McGahee celebrates his homecoming with over a hundred yards and a few scores.
Ravens: 17 - Bills: 10
Pittsburgh Steelers (4-1) at Denver Broncos (2-3)
If it weren't for the mile high club this would be a blowout. The Broncos don't look very good and the Steelers are getting healthy after the bye week. Expect a harsh game up in the air.
Steelers: 24 - Broncos: 17
Be sure to come back next week to see how we did and read up on our Jets game recap.
