Week Sixteen 2008 - Jet Kingdom Throne Picks

Week Fifteen Results

Not bad for the end of the season push going 3-0. Got a little help from a crappy offense in the 49ers and my new favorite person in Sean Ellis on the New York Jets. Two more weeks to go, hope we can keep it up.

Miami Dolphins (9-5) at Kansas City Chiefs (2-12)

There will be twelve players starting for the Chiefs on Sunday, eleven on the field and one everywhere, the cold. The Dolphins have had good luck this year when it comes to cold games and quarterback Chad Pennington is no stranger to bad weather. Expect the Chiefs to look like they are playing for the draft, as Herm slip slides away.

Dolphins: 17 - Chiefs: 12

Arizona Cardinals (8-6) at New England Patriots (9-5)

The Patriots were firing on all cylinders last week against a crappy Oakland team and will be happy to be home. Kurt Warner and his high flying offense have done poorly on the East Coast this year so don't expect a shootout. Expect the Patriots to play the ground game, short passes, long runs and a hoping for a playoff spot somewhere.

Cardinals: 20 - Patriots: 31

Buffalo Bills (6-8) at Denver Broncos (8-6)

The Bills suffered a bad defeat last week against the Jets and aren't going to have much luck in Denver. Trent Edwards might be coming back and the Denver defense might be bad but the Broncos are going to play hard at home with aspirations of the playoffs. Expect the Bills to collapse about midway through the game.

Bills: 17 - Broncos: 27

New York Jets (9-5) at Seattle Seahawks (3-11)

This is the biggest trap game of the season! A 3-11 Seahawks team, sitting at home, on the West Coast at 4pm. It couldn't get any worse. The only way out of this game alive is Thomas Jones and Leon Washington. Expect it to be close, way too close.

Key to the Castle: Run to the left. Run to the right. Run up the middle. Kick.

Jets: 22 - Seattle: 21

Be sure to come back next week and see how we did or listen to the podcast for even more picks.
