Week Three 2008 - Jet Kingdom Throne Picks

Week Two Results

Rough week round and round. Not only did the duffus Dolphins get pounded by the Cardinals and the Bills pulled out another win, but the Jets lost. Not good at all.

  • W1: 3-1
  • W2: 0-3

Miami Dolphins (0-2) at New England Patriots (2-0)

This isn't your 16-0 Patriots but it might be the 1-15 Miami Dolphins. While New England has plugged in Matt Cassell to system with success, Chad Pennington hasn't found it that easy in his first two losses. Expect Miami play hard but just be out-matched by a superior team at home.

Dolphins: 13 - Patriots: 23

Oakland Raiders (1-1) at Buffalo Bills (2-0)

Something about the 2-0 Bills just doesn't sounds right and we expect the 3-0 Bills to sound just as wrong. A west coast young team in the Raiders doesn't have the ability to put up much of a fight. The AFC East just got a little harder with a Bills win.

Raiders: 7 - Bills: 29

New York Jets (1-1) at Sand Diego Chargers (0-2)

As Parcell's likes to say, "You are what your record says you are" but in this case that doesn't sum up the Chargers. They still have a good passing and running game but are missing a key player on the defense. For the Jets, it is time to learn to play Brett Ball and I think they will on Monday night.

Jets: 31 - Chargers: 28

Be sure to come back next week and see how we did or listen to the podcast for even more picks.
