Week Two 2008 - Jet Kingdom Throne Picks
Jet Kingdom picks the AFC East match ups and scores for week two of the 2008 NFL season. This week we pick Jacksonville at Buffalo, Dolphins in Arizona and the Patriots at the New York Jets.
Week One Results
Starting the season is never easy but going 3-1 isn't bad. We got the Giants, Jets and Patriots but missed on those crazy Bills who pounded the Seahawks.
- W1: 3-1
Jacksonville Jaguars (0-1) vs Buffalo Bills (1-0)
Are the Jaguars as bad as they looked last week or are the Bills really that good. The truth, we believe, is somewhere in the middle. It will be high scoring through offense and defense but the Jaguars pull out the win.
Jaguars: 31 - Bills: 30
Miami Dolphins (0-1) vs Arizona Cardinals (1-0)
The Dolphins have a few weapons they just need to get them working correctly. Kurt Warner and the Cardinals will be trying to take advantage of the Dolphins secondary which will not work. The Dolphins take it to them.
Dolphins: 23 - Cardinals: 21
New England Patriots (1-0) vs New York Jets (1-0)
A Patriots team without Tom Brady is still a dangerous foe, but at home, at the opener with Brett Favre and the New York Jets, it is a Jets win. Expect the Jets to bring every blitz package they have ever dreamed up and make Matt Cassel's life very hard.
Patriots: 17 - Jets: 24
Be sure to come back next week and see how we did or listen to the podcast for even more picks.
