Normally the definition would be "short-legged flightless birds of cold southern especially Antarctic regions having webbed feet and wings modified as flippers" but on a New York Jets fan website, it is about Head Coach Eric Mangini. The rumor is that Laveranues Coles came up with the nickname and added to it by doing a "Penguin Dance" in the endzone after catching a touch down.
