New York City released the Hudson Yards Environmental Impact Statement which is a pretty positive view of the West Side plan to expand the Javits convention center, create parks, businesses and build a world class New York Jets stadium above the rail yards.

Newsday is reporting that the New York Jets released plans for the new stadium today. The design calls for solar collector tubes and wind turbines to produce energy.
Willetts Point Not That Cheap?
A Times Ledger article points out that the proposed Willets Point plan for the New York Jets stadium might cost just as much as the West Side plan.
NYT: Support for an Olympic Stadium, Only in Queens
A New York Times article goes over David Oat's points about building the stadium in Queens and why that is the only good choice. The article does point out that the Jets owner does not (and probably will not) put money towards a Queens Stadium.
