Please Remove Opposing Links

This web site could attract much more readers if it could take a clearer stand on supporting or opposing the New York Sports and Convention Center (NYSCC). To that end, I request the web site host to consider removing the following links to web sites that oppose the NYSCC. I can then take positive action to assure that this web site URL will appear on a number of official sites supporting the NYSCC and NYC2012. 1. New York Association for Better Choices 2. West Side Coalition 3. QueensWest.com 4. Queens Olympics 5. Tenant.net Right now, it just seems like we are talking to each other. That is not a bad thing -- and I support the site 100%. I just believe if we take a stand one way or the other, we can attract more readers (and posters) and spark some interesting discussions. The King of Queens

King! :) Isn't it clear this site is for the stadium? I can understand possibly putting the anti-stadium sites into a category that is more clear (BTW, QueensWest.com is not anti-stadium, trust me I know), but removing them seems ignoring the fact that there are two sides to this debate. We are talking to each other and the hundreds of others that are reading, just not posting. It would be nice to be linked from other official 2012 and stadium sites, but I am not sure at any cost. You know? Jake

Jake: I see no cost, really, to be linked to the mainstream sites. I do agree with your position and see room for compromise. I believe we can make this site appear to be decidedly pro-NYSCC (pro-stadium) and pro-NYC2012 (pro-Olympics) to the casual web-surfer, while still acknowledging that there are opposing view points. Perhaps the first step might be to segregate opposing links into one section, with an explanation that we do acknowledge there are those in opposition to us. The King (of Queens)

A few clarifications. - I moved the opposition website links into their own category "Stadium Opposition Sites" - I created a FAQ on whether or not this is a anti or pro site in the FAQ section. - I updated the homepage to be more clear about the sites purpose. Jake
