This past weekend in Berlin, Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Deputy Mayor and NYC2012 Founder Daniel Doctoroff made a pivotal presentation to a major meeting of Olympic sports leaders. Once again, press reports from Berlin indicated that New York and London made the best presentations. With less than 80 days to go until the final IOC vote in Singapore and just two more public presentations to IOC members, this past weekend was another critical milestone. But in order for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games to come to New York, we need your help. As you know, we recently launched a petition in support of the Bid and the Olympic Stadium. Six thousand supporters have already signed the petition - a tremendous initial response. But your help is still vital. We need you to grow our team of Olympic supporters-please urge your friends, family and co-workers to join us in bringing the Games to New York. Send them this link and tell them that New York cannot win without their support. http://www.nyc2012.com/en/petition.html This past weekend made one thing clear: New York's bid continues to impress the Olympic family and its momentum continues to grow. But without the approval of the Olympic Stadium before the IOC vote, we will not get the Games. Your help is vital. We need your continued support to make New York's Olympic dream come true. With just one approval remaining, we are closer than ever to fulfilling the commitment that Governor Pataki and Mayor Bloomberg made to the IOC Evaluation Commission when they visited here in February that the Olympic Stadium project would be fully approved on schedule before the IOC vote.
